Wow I just saw that I got the daily feature, and that's pretty sweet! I can finally knock that off of my achievement list. I'd like to say thanks to everyone that voted, you make a reclusive tarzan man in his underwear very happy. 

Also, I'll be releasing an update video very soon on YouTube to detail my plans for ExplosiveCake in the next year or so. I have a lot of stuff in the oven for you guys and hopefully you like it as much as I do.

It's with great embarrasment that I announce that the holiday cartoon is going to be late. I picked up the project about two weeks too late, and you should expect it by sometime in the next week (maybe two, but that's unlikely) . It might be late but it's still coming! Most of the animation is done and I'll be handing it off to a couple friends for assistance afterward so I can pump it out faster.

After that it's right back into the fray with The Monument to Brutality. I've finaly gotten animating back on track, and I'm sorry for all the delays these last three months.

Oh my god it's been a long time. Shit, sorry for not updating so often, life just sorta got really complicated. I finally finished up the animation for the 8th scene (FINALLY) and am working on backgrounds. Those should be done in a few days and then it's off to animate special effects. 

Assuming things go well however, I might put this cartoon on hiatus to HOPEFULLY release a short for the holidays, and then it's back to this. Like I said this is the last long cartoon for a while and I hope no one has grown tired of waiting. It's been a year, I know that better than anyone and I'm sorry. 

However Dean (EpicBottle), myself, and our friend Brian did a commentary on Metal Queer Solid to get some laughs in. If you want to know everything wrong with that cartoon and some behind the scenes stuff with banter you should check it out!

Hey so I just wanted to point out that I'm still working on The Monument to Brutality, but I also want to address the fact that as much as I LOVE writing 10-15 minute episodes, it's not a viable way to keep an audience going, so I'm going to completely rework ExplosiveCake and make it an actual series with somewhat interconnected episodes hopefully ranging from 5-8 minutes in length. I just don't have the power to write such big cartoons and animate them myself. As much as I love larger stories, maybe in the future when I can hire a studio to help me? (Yotta, I'm lookin' at you.) So as soon as this is released, the cartoons are being given their own series title and a more concentrated story with recurring characters. 

But more on that later. 

Also college is great, it's taking a lot of my time, but I can somwhat manage.

I'm bad at updating. I don't live with my parents anymore so thats fun I guess, which means I'm still trying to get adjusted (hence not being very active.)

First and formost I would love to apologize for not updating this on a 2 week cycle like I said I would. But a shit load of stuff has happened since the last post so I'm gonna break this down into smaller bits!

ExplosiveCake: The Monument to Brutality 

• I totally underestimated the length of this, and I am sorry to say that it will be A LOT longer than just 8 Scenes.  (Originally I thought this was another 8-10 minute episode but it looks like its going to translate to a 12-15 minute one, maybe more.) Anyway I am working hard, and I hope to get it out as soon as I can. Here's a screenshot. 

Other Project

• I recently got hired to animate a movie type of project thanks to mutual friends of the creators of said project. I don't really know if I'm allowed to say much, but I'll give you a FAIRLY OBVIOUS hint.

I also turned 18 and am job hunting to save money for my own place among other things. I bought my first pipe the other day, (how neat is that??)  ANYWAY STAY TUNED FOR MORE.

Well I got back from Mexico a few weeks ago and I've been animating to the best of my ability. Adulthood is at my doorstep and I have to sacrifice a lot of my time to get situated, anyway, all the animation for the 3rd scene is done and now I just have to add backgrounds and effects and make it look pretty, I don't know when this will be done, but I work on it every day in hopes that it's sometime in the near future. Hey friends I just finished the second scene of this lengthily cartoon, Scene 3 is in the animatic stage. Sorry for dropping off the grid, I lost my drive to animate for a bit, and I'm slowly regaining it back. However this cartoon will be put on Hiatus starting December 12th because I'm going on holiday, I will return on the 13th of January eager to get back to it though.
