Cartoon Still Being Made, College is Cool

Posted by ToasterBrutals - September 29th, 2014

Hey so I just wanted to point out that I'm still working on The Monument to Brutality, but I also want to address the fact that as much as I LOVE writing 10-15 minute episodes, it's not a viable way to keep an audience going, so I'm going to completely rework ExplosiveCake and make it an actual series with somewhat interconnected episodes hopefully ranging from 5-8 minutes in length. I just don't have the power to write such big cartoons and animate them myself. As much as I love larger stories, maybe in the future when I can hire a studio to help me? (Yotta, I'm lookin' at you.) So as soon as this is released, the cartoons are being given their own series title and a more concentrated story with recurring characters.

But more on that later.

Also college is great, it's taking a lot of my time, but I can somwhat manage.

Here's a screenshot!

Hi Explosivve Cake, I am a big fan of your work. I am starting a subtitle channel on Youtube to take mostly Newgrounds stuff and add a PT BR (brazilian portuguese) subtitle to it Bottom line, I would like Metal Queer Solid to be the first one. I love the video, and I want to share it with some of my friends who don't know english, and I'd like your permission to translate and subtitle it. If you're willing, please send me a transcription of the lines in the video, so I can make a more accurate translation. If that's not possible, then I will just transcribe it myself. Looking forward to it.

That sounds like a really cool idea, I unfortunately lost the script myself, if you want you can try transcribing it. However my only rules would be to give credit to where it's due (links to the original and my channel and what not) and to please refrain from monetizing it. I myself don't make money off of it, and it would be completely impractical if nothing else if someone else did. You know?

How's that sound?
